IRIS DE KONING HOLLAND

Iris de Koning who lives in Arnhem, claims she is a STORM addict. She has only been collecting STORM watches seriously for two years but has already achieved a very impressive collection of 45 watches. Her first STORM watch was the Hemisphere which she actually bought seven years ago, followed by the Rollernet a year or two later. Browsing the Internet she realised that there were STORM enthusiasts in many countries and that she could buy unusual models with just a few clicks – this led to her addiction!

What she likes about STORM watches is that they are real eye catchers – original and unusual. She says it is almost impossible to pick a favourite as they are all so different and cannot be compared. But when forced to make a choice, she plumped for the Digirom, which she likes for its retro and yet sci-fi look. She wonders if there are any more collectors in The Netherlands – or is she the only one?
